National Honors Society Officers 2015-2016
President: Nadia de Stefano
Collaborates with vice president to ensure NHS is running smoothly and efficiently. The president organizes meetings, contacts members, and makes sure all officers as well as committees are doing their jobs. |
Vice President: Abby Collier
Collaborates with the president to organize meetings, contact NHS members, as well as ensure that NHS is running smoothly and efficiently. |
Academic Officer:
Emma Collier The academic officer is in charge of finding new ways to promote academic success at FALA. |
Historian: Justine Kennedy
The historian must show up to every service event to take photos. These photos should be used to update the website on a regular basis. All updates are made by the historian. |
Treasurer: Wyatt Clark
The Treasurer is in charge of dealing with the money NHS raises. The Treasurer is also in charge of collecting annual dues of $20. |
Secretary1: Nina Hoover
The secretary number one is in charge of taking minutes of every meeting and keeping all officers and NHS members up to date on our meetings. |

General Requirements for National Honors Society
1) Must have all service hours up to date (30 per year of high school).
2) Must be earning a constant GPA of a 3.5 or higher.
3) Must be willing to dedicate time and effort into NHS projects.
4) Must demonstrate good character in and outside of school. You may be removed from NHS or not have the opportunity to apply if you have shown bad character.
5) Must earn a total of 15 service hours a year through NHS (once accepted).
